Affinity Massage Therapy
Terms & conditions
These terms apply when you book or receive a massage treatment with Affinity Massage Therapy (“we”, “us”), operated by Donna at Room 15, East Fulton Farm Business Centre, Linwood, PA3 3TP. Donna is a member of the Federation of Holistic Therapists (FHT). By booking online or attending a session, you agree to these terms.
1. Treatments
Massage treatments are for wellbeing and relaxation. They are not a substitute for medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. If you have a health condition, injury, are pregnant, or are unsure whether massage is suitable, please check with a GP or other qualified professional before booking, and tell us about anything relevant before your session.
We may refuse or adapt a treatment if we reasonably believe it would be unsafe or unsuitable.
2. Booking and payment
Online bookings are held briefly while you complete payment. Paying in full online confirms your appointment. Card payments are processed securely by Stripe; we do not store your full card details.
Some bookings may be arranged as pay-on-the-day by arrangement with us. Prices are as shown on the website or confirmed with you when you book.
3. Cancellation and rescheduling
You may cancel or reschedule online free of charge until 48 hours before your appointment (reschedule window: 48 hours, as shown in your account or booking confirmation).
If you cancel later than that, miss your appointment, or arrive too late for a full session, we may keep the fee for online payments, or charge the session fee for pay-on-the-day bookings. We will try to be fair if something unforeseen happens — contact us as soon as you can.
If we need to cancel or change your appointment, we will contact you and offer a new time or a refund of any amount already paid for that session.
4. Arriving for your session
Please arrive a few minutes early so there is time to settle in. If you are late, your session may be shortened so later clients are not delayed. The full fee still applies.
5. Conduct and safety
We ask that everyone treat the studio and each other with respect. We may end a session early (without refund) if behaviour is inappropriate, abusive, or unsafe.
Please wear suitable underwear or clothing as discussed for the treatment. You will be appropriately draped during the session.
6. Online accounts
If you create an account, you are responsible for keeping your login details secure and for activity under your account. You can ask us to close your account; some records may be kept where we need them for legal, accounting, or clinical reasons (see our Privacy policy).
7. Liability
We take reasonable care in providing treatments. We are not liable for loss or damage except where the law does not allow us to limit liability (for example, death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or fraud).
You are responsible for telling us honestly about your health and any contraindications before treatment.
8. Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. The version on this page applies to new bookings made after it is published. Material changes will be dated above.
